the new plan

An update from Eric,

We now have a new medical plan as of this afternoon.  Kristen is now being put back on IV antibiotics for two more weeks to clear up a lung infection. We knew she would need to go home with IV meds for the nausea management.  Now this will most certainly complicate things for the Burdick clan. She will be at the hospital for the remainder of the week, most likely.  We were informed that it is not uncommon for CF'ers to have a setback like this after a surgical procedure.  However, now this means a much more complicated IV schedule for Kristen to adhere to over the following weeks. Which also leaves us with more to figure out regarding where we will go after her leaving the hospitals care. We may need to stay in the Portland area, while she finishes her new course of meds.
