minor setbacks

    Kristen's pacemaker incisions are healed. She is still dealing with some distension and swelling but all is healing up nicely there.  We are unfortunately still at the hospital.  Kristen is now fighting off some sort of possible upper respiratory infection. 
     She also developed ulcerations on her gums and has been experiencing mouth and tooth pain.  She is also experiencing some difficulty swallowing.  The doctors brought up an oral surgeon to take a look.  She is now taking a medicine rinse several times a day to keep the bacteria in her mouth at bay. It could take up to two weeks for medicine to heal up her mouth. She will also need to follow up with a periodontist.
     She had her Pulmonary Function tests today.  Her(PFT) numbers have declined from just two weeks ago. So now we are waiting to see what path the doctors plan on taking.
