So today we busted Kristen out of the hospital. Wooo Hoooo! She's still has some meds to continue at home. She is still being treated for C. Diff., still has central line for fluids and the like, but we are headed home after over a month in the hospital. We had our ups and downs and Kristen still has some recovering to do. We are being cautiously optimistic, in regards to the pacer working its magic. Its hard to tell with the C. Diff. still lingering whether the pacemaker is having a positive impact on things. We are hopeful.
We will be heading back to Redmond Friday. It was a long journey this go round in the hospital. There was treatment for lung infection, gastric pacemaker placement, another lung infection treatment, then C. Diff. all of that for, well, wait there's more, if you call now......Not the last part, but my goodness. Excitement at every turn. So now what from here, you might ask? In our search for more specialized care for Kristens specific health needs. We are looking forward to our up coming appointments at the University of Washington CF clinic, and the CF clinic at the National Jewish Health Hospital in Denver. The UW appointment is at the end of July, The Denver appointment is still to be determined, but we are hopeful it will be soon. Thank you to everyone, for everything. We couldn't do this without the love and support of so many people. Much love to you all, Eric
