Good things are HAppening!

Hooray!!! Our insurance company approved the gastric pacemaker surgery. Between our insurance coverage and your generous donations, we now have the necessary resources to move forward with the surgery. Your support will also allow our family to travel together to seek second opinions at two additional out-of-state cystic fibrosis centers. Our family cannot thank you all enough.

Because of your guys' love and support, our family can be together before, during, and after the surgery. Your donations have also afforded us the opportunity to be together during the weeks following the surgery. This will be a very anxious time for our friends and family, as it is during this time period that we find out whether or not the gastric pacemaker is a success.

I am still in the hospital receiving IV antibiotics and working hard to get my lungs in tip top condition for the surgery. Tuesday June 23, 2015 is surgery day. I know our family will be thinking about the incredible amount of love that people have sent to us. We are keeping our fingers crossed and remaining cautiously optimistic that the sugery will be a success. We are thinking positive thoughts and only have room for faith, hope and love.
