Hello everyone! I am excited to say we haven't posted in so long because things are going well and we have been busy living LIFE! My GI symptoms are almost non-existent right now! WOW! The new GI medication and the new enzymes that they put me on in Denver appear to be doing their job very well. My lungs have not felt this good in years. Every morning I wake up fearing that this new life of easy breathing will have been ripped away from me. Most days I think to myself, 'there is no way I can have another day feeling this light'. I mean, can I?! LOL. I still wake up and cannot believe that I slept through the night which, by the way, has not happened in two plus years. Sometimes I catch myself wondering when the drowning sensation is going to kick in. But nothing. When I breath in deeply I still can't believe that I am able to follow it with a slow and steady exhale. I forget what it's like to not plan every breath and anticipate the consequences of breathing too deeply. I spent, as I realize now, an incredible amount of effort perfecting the short and shallow breath so that I could avoid the humiliation of incontinence, choking, vomiting, passing out, you name it. I can now take deep breaths in, and more importantly out. And, mostly, without even thinking about it! It's brilliant and, some days, a bit unbelievable! Even more surprising is my activity level. You guys will not believe it! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy! I want to tell all of our Warrior supporters thank you! Your guys' support and love NEVER fails! When we got back from Denver we had so many notes in the mail for us, it was overwhelming. It feels good to not feel alone. We love you all so much and cannot imagine braving this past years' obstacles without you all. Take care. Until next time.
